Design Criteria for Roof and the upper level: the roof of the National Capitol as much as possible will preserve in their original morphology, so based on a study of the photographic information to date have, the technical condition of the roof construction and historical descriptions, we have taken an important group of decisions set out below:
• Demolition of all roofing cover and replacement by new one, correction of the slopes.
• Demolition of asphalt sheets in the vaults and the joints that are under them and replaced with a new completion of joints.
• Trimming the parapets of buildings additional cover to the original level.
• Rehabilitation of all skylights that exist today and are part of the building's original design.
• Demolition of concrete slabs covering the existing patio dining and living areas. Replacing all metal and glass skylights. (Requires project)
• Demolition of the structure of wood and covered with tiled roofs of the chambers and put in place of metal and glass skylights, as originally existed. (Requires project)
• Demolition of tiled roofs in the additional octagonal building and replacement by metal and glass skylight, similar to that originally had. (Requires executive project)
• Repair cracks and crevices in walls , additional constructions and other architectural elements. Which require a detailed and updated diagnostic
• Comprehensive rehabilitation of additional constructions . (Requires project)
• Repair and restoration of the woodwork on the deck in general. (Requires project)
