C & M Building in Grand Cayman

Main duties as Project Manager-Designer (office and site)

 

Prepare construction projects.

Analyze technical solutions.

Preparation of construction drawings and details

Supervised and manage the rest of the project team

Supervised and technical control on site of construction works.

Planned, organized and control construction projects according to schedule.

Prepared schedules and monitoring the construction progress.

Prepared and negotiated, revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients.

Inspected work in site.

Supervised the work in others fields, such as structures, plumbing, AC, weak currents, and electrical work.

After Hurricane Ivan, as it passes through the Cayman Islands, it was necessary to rebuild the C & M  building; and take the opportunity to add new functions, such as the addition of 4-one room apartments, 4 spaces for offices, maintain existing church and shop for appliances

Formally, we varied the volume of the building, expanding it to its side and placing the stairs.
